Species

At Vivotecnia we work with a wide range of laboratory animal species to support the design and execution of regulatory-compliant toxicology studies. The appropriate selection of species is critical for the scientific relevance, ethical justification, and regulatory acceptance of each study.

Established – 2000

Our facilities and teams are equipped to manage both rodent and non-rodent under high standards of animal welfare, in full compliance with international guidelines. We base the selection on pharmacological relevance, metabolic profile, sensitivity to the test compound, and alignment with global regulatory expectations.

What services we offer

We  work with both rodent and non-rodent, always ensuring compliance with international regulations and the highest standards of naimal welfare.

Rodent Species

We conduct studies in rats and mice for a wide variety of preclinical evaluations, including general toxxicology, genotoxicity, reproductive toxicology, safety pharmacology and carcinogenicity. We designed our rodent facilities for high-capacity studies, with controlled environments and enriched housing systems.

Non-rodent Species

We offer studies in beagle dogs, minipigs, and non-human primates when regulatory guidance or compound-specific characteristics require it. All procedures are carried out by experienced personnel in specie-specific facilities designed to support both welfare and data integrity.
